Donald Mervin Witmeyer, 95, of Cumming died on February 28, 2001. Born in Palmyra, PA, he was the son of the late John and Carrie Witmeyer. His beloved wife, Babe, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Witmeyer served in the US Army and retired as a Colonel. He was also a Corporate Vice President for Ford Motor Company and Corporate Vice President with Zurich Insurance Company.
He is survived by his sons, Chad (Tracey) Witmeyer of Cumming and Kirk Witmeyer of Lawrence, KS; brother, Stanley Witmeyer of Rochester, NY; sisters, Arlene Hack of Rochester, NY and Geri Kallen of Birmingham, AL; and much-loved grandchildren, Katherine Lemons, Elizabeth Witmeyer, Jordan Haley and Eric Willcox.
